IB Diploma Programme Coordinator
We have been carrying out different tasks to strengthen the processes of bilingualism and internationalization of the school framed in our great project called “BIMP Bilingual and Intercultural Minds Program”. Thanks to this project our current bilingual curriculum has an international projection by implementing subjects that will not only enhance communication skills in English but will also allow the student to have a broader vision of the world through the knowledge of other cultures, languages, traditions and literature which will complement the purpose we have set ourselves which is to form citizens of the world.
Within this great project in which the entire educational community including parents are involved is the International Baccalaureate, in December we were notified of the approval of the candidacy as an applicant school for the Diploma Program for students of tenth and eleventh grade.
We are sure that this projection will be a great success for the lives of our students and with it the recognition of our institution not only nationally but also internationally.
What is an IB education?
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
